7 Coffee Smoothies Ideas To Change Your Morning Routine

We all need more energy especially in mornings, a fruit smoothie is a delicious way to power up your day. Mornings aren’t always as smooth as we predict it to be. But, we could make our morning as better as we can by trying these coffee smoothies that will boost our energy to make it through the day. Here, find seven coffee-healthy smoothies.

Follow these recipes and create your own, depending on the fruit, yogurt and other ingredients you have available.

#1 Coffee and Oat Smoothie

It may seem strange to you, coffee and oatmeal, all in one smoothie? If you want to try something new, just add to your blender a spoonful of nut butter, a banana, coffee, and milk along with a quarter cup of rolled oats. 

You’ll get a healthier smoothie with a thicker texture and an energy boost to start your day strong.

#2 Chocolate Chia Coffee Smoothie

This smoothie will give you an excellent boost for the day. The chia seeds swell up, giving this drink a lovely texture. To sweeten your smoothie, you can use a vanilla extract. Add dates, cacao, coffee and almond milk that will give it a sweet creamy flavor.

#3 Coconut Cashew Latte Smoothie

This sugarless smoothie is a win. It is a thick and creamy drink that uses a small frozen banana, vanilla protein powder, cashews, shredded coconut, and coffee. If you want to play around with it, add in a date or two, a tablespoon of nut butter, or a few shakes of cinnamon.

#4 Peanut Butter Espresso Smoothie

It does taste pretty damn good. The key ingredient here is espresso powder, but if you want, you could always swap in a shot of actual espresso or half a cup of coffee.

If you’re looking for a change, try salted caramel flavor. This smoothie can always be a good start. It has a sneaky secret, though. Instead of using caramel sauce, the recipe uses dates, vanilla extract, and cocoa powder to get a similar, caramel-y taste. It’s much healthier this way.

#6 Peppermint Mocha Smoothie

It is one of my favorite summer coolers includes peppermint, but, there’s no reason you can’t re-create the minty flavor year-round. 

You can add a little peppermint extract to the other ingredients: coffee, banana, almond milk, and cocoa powder. And you've got yourself a peppermint mocha. For more flavor, just put a few fresh mint leaves on top.

#7 Iced Coffee Protein Smoothie

In this recipe, you’ll need some overnight prep. But it's worth it. Fill a plastic ice cube tray with leftover coffee, then pop a few cubes into your smoothie in the morning. 

So not only will you have a caffeine-infused breakfast, but you’ll also have extras leftover for future iced coffee. Blended it with Greek yogurt, chia, and hemp seeds. This smoothie will definitely keep you energetic all day.
