#1 Lemon
We tend to use lemon in our kitchen a lot, but, it can also be used to treat our sore throat. It contains vitamin C and antioxidants. It can help remove mucus, keep your mucous membranes moist.
You can Combine lemon with warm water, and a bit of Honey or saltwater may be the best way to maximize its benefits.
#2 Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is the best ingredient to help you relief your painful throat. It has antibacterial properties. You can consume it in small amounts with warm water.
#3 Cinnamon
Cinnamon is a fragrant and delicious spice that we sometimes use to give an extra flavor to our dishes. But, it has antibacterial benefits, and it's high in antioxidants.
You can add one teaspoon of cinnamon powder to a cup of warm water. Then, you strain the solution and try to gargle with it two to three times a day.
#4 Salt Water
Using salt water to treat a sore throat is a well-known remedy. The salt helps to reduce swelling, and it may also help kill unwanted microbes in your throat. You need to mix a teaspoon of salt in a glass of warm water.
You can add a little bit of Honey. Gargle with the solution, do not swallow it. Spit the water out after gargling.
Do this at least three times a day to get a better result.

I advise you to eat Garlic. It has an antibacterial property along with other medicinal properties that can help treat or prevent sore throats. You can eat a raw garlic clove daily to release the chemical known as allicin that helps kill the bacteria that may be causing the sore throat.

People usually use slippery elm to reduce coughs and comfort a sore throat. It contains chemicals that can help soothe sore throats.
Just add one teaspoon of the inner bark of slippery elm to two cups of boiling water and drink it slowly while it is still warm.

Who doesn’t like Honey? Honey is a delicious sweetener also it has antibacterial properties that are often used in combination with other natural ingredients to soothe a sore throat.
You can add a tablespoon of honey to a glass of warm water. It will help you feel better.
#8 Turmeric
Another ingredient that has an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory property is Tumeric. It is beneficial for those who suffer from a sore throat. You can mix one teaspoon of turmeric powder into a glass of warm water.
Then, drink it slowly in the morning on an empty stomach.
For better results, you should do this once daily for three or four days.
#9 Marshmallow Root
Marshmallow Root has been used for several years to treat a sore throat. Its high mucilaginous content may make it a useful remedy for treating coughs and colds.
This remedy is not recommended for pregnant women or people who have diabetes. You can add one tablespoon of dried marshmallow root to a cup of boiling water and steep it for about half an hour.
Then, strain the solution, if you want to add some honey and drink it.

Ginger is among a lot of plants that are beneficial for a sore throat as it has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. You need to peel ginger root and grate into a small bowl, put it in boiling water. Then, you let it steep for 10 minutes.
Finally, add a sweetener such as Honey, then stir to combine. You can drink it hot or cold as you like.
