10 Easy Home Cleaning Hacks You Should Try

You don’t need to spend the day climbing too hard to reach places or rubbing your fingers raw trying to clean your cooktop. Cleaning your home must be as simple and easy as you wish it to be. The process is much easier than you think.

All you need is to be smart, for example, a simple bar of soap can be a great air freshener for your drawers! Here are a bunch of priceless tips that cost almost no money and help us to easily facilitate the cleaning process.

#1 Use frozen vinegar-lemon cubes to remove the smell from your garbage disposal.

To remove unpleasant odor, these ice cubes will keep the blades of your garbage disposal sharp. It would be best if you placed a small chunk of lemon into each ice cube mold, then fill them with white vinegar and freeze.

Then, drop a few of the frozen cubes into your running garbage disposal.

#2 Remove a tough stain from the carpet using an iron.

To remove a tough stain from carpet, you will only need ammonia, hot water, a spray bottle, a stack of clean and color-safe towels, and an iron.

It would be best if you also preheated your iron, then mix one-part ammonia and one part hot water, spray the mixture onto the carpet stain, and put a clean towel on top of it.

Now, you place the hot iron on the towel and move it around slowly.

Finally, spray more of the mixture on the stain and repeat the process.

#5 Whiten your old yellow pillows easily.

Yellow pillows are gross, and no one wants to sleep on them. But, there is a way to save them. Use powdered laundry detergent, powdered dishwasher detergent, and borax.

All you need to do is to bring a large pot of water to boil, stir in 1 cup of powdered laundry detergent, 1 cup of powdered dishwasher detergent, and 1/2 cup of borax. Stir until everything dissolves. Then, pour this mixture into a container large enough for you to soak your pillows in and 1 cup of bleach.

Finally, let your pillows soak in this mixture for 30 minutes. Don’t forget to flip them half-way through and you must run the pillows through a full wash cycle in a washing machine
