It’s just a regular egg but it make it to the top by beating Kylie jenner’s post on instagram last february, in which she held her baby’s hand “Stormy” by 18.1 million likes.

Egg Gang’s account @world_record_egg first published the egg photo on Jan. 4.”Let’s set a world record together and get the most liked post on Instagram. Beating the current world record held by Kylie Jenner (18 million)! We got this,” the post says.
By sunday morning,the egg had around 9 million likes; But within 10 hours that number had been doubled, breaking kylie’s record. It started then viral on sunday, once it began to get a million like per hour. Folks have been scrambling to try and find who’s behind the egg photo,
an associate for the egg identifying themselves only as someone living in LONDON. Replied by email that they came up with this idea after reading an article about the top 20 Instagram posts of 2018. he said:”it would be challenging and interesting experiment to try to beat the record for something so basic”. It started slowly at first, with under 10.000 likes by tuesday. Then the EGG gained momentum. The anonymous person behind it still can’t believe the egg achieved its dream.

Meanwhile, Kylie Jenner takes her revenge by posting on her instagram cracking one of the family members of the egg saying “take that, little egg”. I thought no one will be happy by losing in front of an an Egg ! Right ! It’s a mad world and no one will be expecting what might happen next. Let’s keep our fingers crossed !!
